Tylenol Murders 1982 – YouTube Comment

I was a kid during the Tylenol murders but I remember it vividly. I remember being scared as a kid. I was smart enough to know what was going on and that made it all the scarier. The media didn’t help but it was absolutely necessary in this case to get the word out to as many people as possible as quickly as possible. Now in the aftermath of it all, it’s all but a distant memory. But Tylenol is still one of the most trusted brands in America. How did they pull that off? Most companies would have folded. I guess this is a clear indicator of the power and influence of American Big Pharma.

Tylenol bounced back, in part, due to creating the “safety seal” we see on most over the counter products today.
